It's been over two months now and I have the feeling I want to share my experiences. I don't know if anybody will ever read this, but its way easier for me to keep track of a "diary" if I have a digital copy.
So here I'm going to post about my exchange year in the U.S. as a high school student in Austin, TX.
About me:I'm from Germany but currently, I live in Austin because I decided to stay one year (more or less, 10 months) with a host family to experience American culture and school.
I have a wonderful host sister from France and awesome host parents.
Of course, I miss my own family back in Germany but I know I won't have the chance to do a high school exchange year again.
So basically I try not to live in the past or worry about the future. I live in the "here and now".
